This year, International Women's Day on March 8th sets out a challenge for everyone:

"A challenged world is an alert world and from challenge comes change.
So let's all choose to challenge.”

International Women’s Day, and the entire month of March, is a time to celebrate women and their achievements, but it is also a time to recognize and call for gender equity.

WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO CHALLENGE?

No challenge you choose is too big or too small.

Whether, it’s about

Building more inclusive workplaces,
Increasing visibility of female creatives and entrepreneurs,
Empowering and promoting self-worth,
Promoting plastic-free zero waste packaging,
Increasing transparency of supply chains or
Reducing social stigmas about gender stereotypes,

Let’s all collectively
#CHOOSETOCHALLENGE
to create an inclusive, safe and healthy world,
today and every day.

One of our goals is to

challenge the fashion industry.

How were my clothes dyed?
Will this t-shirt fall apart after a few wears?
Who makes the clothes we wear every day?
Where are they being made?
Do I need ten pairs of jeans?
How many pairs of socks do I need to buy to get a discount?
What happens to all the clothes we discard?

WHY

WHEN YOU CAN

Our swap events were originally created to divert usable clothing from the trash bins. We soon learned that there many many other items that people were interested to swap as well.

Now, you can drop off pretty much any item in your home that has some useful life left in them. In exchange, pick up something that might be of use to you instead.

Win win for everyone!
